A bit about us...
Born in 2007, L'Osteria della piazza is located next to La Forneria and serves dishes from Genoese tradition, from trofie with pesto and gnocchi, to focaccia and farinata served with pickled fish. Every dish offered by the osteria is made with fresh ingredients—never frozen and never out of season.
The highlight of L'Osteria della Piazza are the pizzas, made with a special dough that, thanks to a rising process lasting between 45 and 50 hours, turns out light and easy to digest. There are about thirty pizzas on the menu, all with fun names: from the simple Italia (the margherita) to O'Puorco with sausage and scamorza, and A'Poposcia with gorgonzola, cooked ham, sausage, roasted peppers, capers, garlic, and oregano. Pizza prices range from €6 to €10.
L'Osteria della Piazza is open for lunch, with a more home-style menu—ideal for a light, enjoyable lunch break—and for dinner, with more refined dishes such as risottos or tuna in a crust.
L'Osteria della Piazza can accommodate 60 guests inside and 60 outside during the warm season.
