Genoese-style wines

  • “Maniman” White Andrea Bruzzone 12%

    White

Maniman: a distinctive word from the local dialect, meaning “you never know”. It reflects the character of this city and its people. This wine is made from grapes selected by Andrea Bruzzone, who—each harvest—manages to assemble them to achieve the right balance, giving the wine the particular ability to pair with many regional dishes, not just a few. A classic everyday wine.

  • Bianchetta Genovese Valpolcevera Andrea Bruzzone “Bunassa” 11.5%

    White

Bianchetta is the classic Ligurian grape variety, above all from Genoa. Its standout feature is its pronounced citrus-like acidity, which pairs especially well with fish dishes, particularly blue fish. Since the past, it has been known and appreciated at breakfast as the main drink served with focaccia—one of the great traditions of our grandparents.

  • Coronata della Valpolcevera Villa Cambiaso “O Cona” 13.5%

    White

Born from the union of Albarola, Vermentino and Bosco grapes grown facing East on the hills of Morego, among quartz stones and easily crumbling slate, this Coronata White is produced with fruity and mineral notes: green apple and orange blossoms. This wine is slim and savory, with a slightly bitter base, obtained through a gentle pressing to extract only the richest part of the grape. It then rests on fine lees to broaden the aromatic notes.

  • Vermentino della Valpolcevera Villa Cambiaso “E Galee” 13.5%

    White

Yellow with greenish highlights, this Mediterranean wine shows an herbal component that ties it to the Ligurian terroir, in particular the Genoese area. Savory and ideal with fish and vegetables, or savory pies. Designed to be enjoyed young, but it also welcomes a bit of aging.

  • Pigato Deperi 12.5%

    White

Pigato is grown in Ranzo, its ideal place in Valle Arroscia: winds, altitude, and clay soils. The wine ages for 4 months on fine lees to preserve its immediacy. Floral and fresh, with hints of yellow peach; on the palate it is dry, with a light almond aftertaste.

  • “Maniman” Red Andrea Bruzzone 12%

    Red

A pleasant red that wraps you up and wins you over with its pleasantness and excellent drinkability. It has an intense ruby red color, a vinous bouquet, and a persistent flavor with clear aromas of small wild berries: medium-bodied, dry and fresh, with limited persistence.

  • “Treipaexi” Red Andrea Bruzzone 12%

    Red

Three grape varieties to complete this wine: ciliegiolo, dolcetto and barbera, all grown entirely in Valpolcevera. The label name comes from the three grape types used and the three towns where these typical vineyards are located. With an intense ruby red color, aromas of small wild berries, the taste is dry and fresh with a slight tannic streak.

  • Lively White “Bullezzumme” Andrea Bruzzone

    Sparkling

Local grape varieties were used for these wines, giving them a strong liveliness. We recommend drinking it within the first year after it is made to keep the freshness intact. A young, fragrant white.
